Self Portrait

This project was originally an extra credit project that we could work on if we finished other classwork early, however it then became mandatory. I first found a picture of me from over the summer and imported it into Illustrator. Then, I used the color dropper tool to find my skin tones and started coloring it in. The facial features were tricky because it was hard to tell where my original features were after coloring in the face, I generally had to free hand them. My hair was also tedious because it is not one solid color, so I had to try and use a mix of blonde and brown to mimic it. Lastly, I added a background, my name, and my grade to finish it.
